Prior to founding on enterFrame in 2002, Jim worked as a Senior Designer with Captech Ventures. There he served as the lead creative and production designer on many high-profile projects often-times doubling as the Project Manager on many of these engagements.
Previous to his work with Captech, Jim was a Senior Designer at Cisco Systems, Inc. where he conceived and produced a wide-range of multimedia and web-related design and development applications.
Before entering the design arena in the mid-90s, Jim was a technical writer for several organizations where he wrote, edited and produced a multitude of training, user, and corporate communications documentation.
Jim graduated from Radford University with a BS in Journalism (Advertising/Public Relations track). He has continued his education by completing many design, technology, communications, and management coarses throughout his career.
An active member of the Richmond Adobe Users Group, Jim speaks to various groups and at seminars about topics related to new media design and development.
Jim is married and the father two children who in what little spare time he has enjoys playing and listening to music, film, reading, and sports.
